Candidates interested in graduate staff positions in Student Success & the First Year Experience must be admitted into a Salem State University graduate program to be offered a position. Candidates in the Higher Education in Student Affairs (HESA) graduate program will follow the interview process as outlined by the program. More information can be found here.

- First Round: If you'd like to be considered for a position in the first round of interviews please submit your resume and cover letter to [email protected] by Sunday, January 21, 2024. First round virtual interviews will be held February 5-16, 2024.
- Second Round: To be considered in the second round of interviews, please submit a resume & cover letter to [email protected] by Sunday, March 10, 2024. Second round virtual interviews will be held March 25-29, 2024.
- Applications will continued to be accepted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled. Virtual interviews will be scheduled individually with qualified candidates.
Candidates offered the position must commit to the following for Fall 2024 (specific dates TBD):
- Participate in four online training workshops (1 1/2 hours each) throughout June/July 2024
- Graduate staff training and onboarding August 22 - August 30 (not including weekends)
- Participate in O-Team training Wednesday August 28
- Participate in the First Year Day of Service Thursday August 29 - Friday August 30 (confirmation pending)
- Participate in Welcome Week/First Year Reading Experience activities Tuesday September 4
- First Day of Classes - Wednesday September 5
