Graduate Student StaffEach year the office hires multiple graduate Student Success Coaches who are currently enrolled a graduate program at SSU. Student Success Coaches work 20 hours a week. With a retention and engagement emphasis the purpose of Student Success Coaches is to help assist in the overall supervision and management of the office including: Providing general and/or intensive support to students; faculty, staff, and families; supervising student staff; and creating/developing/facilitating programs and events.
The office also hires 10-hour/week Graduate Assistants through the Graduate School's university-wide process. These positions focus on a specific project or initiative. All graduate student staff in Student Success & First Year Experience must be enrolled full-time in a Salem State University graduate program regardless of position. |
